Day 2: Walk around the community and tracking gorillas.

The day you will have a close-up look at those stunning gorillas. As you will be spending a lot of time in the forest looking for these apes, get up early to give yourself time to have breakfast, prepare your packed lunch, and drink water.
When it comes to your first trip, which could take anywhere from two to six hours depending on the movements of the animals, you will be asked to arrive at the park headquarters promptly for your briefing.
You will be able to understand why these apes are referred to as cousins to you during this hour-long presentation of the creatures as they walk around and respond to your presence.
After the hike, return to the park headquarters and, lastly, your accommodation.
After getting ready, go for a community walk to observe the Batwa people and their customs. You can enjoy their traditional songs and dances while they perform them for you. After dinner, spend the night in the lodging where you spent the night before.

Day 3: Continue your trekking into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

You will proceed just as you did yesterday, with the exception that you will trek with a different group than you did the day before when you arrive at the forest following the morning briefing.
As you wrap up your time in the forest, snap pictures of this group as well.
Head return to the car after your final hike and head to Lake Bunyonyi, which offers amazing views and additional activities like kayaking.
Check in, freshen up, have dinner, and spend the night in the Acadia Cottages or the Bunyonyi Overland Camp—whichever you want.

Day 4: Travel to Kampala.

Get up early enough to enjoy your delicious morning meal. Head out on a breathtaking boat trip on Lake Bunyonyi to take in the well- terraced hills surrounding the lake, as well as a few of its islands, and many other picturesque vistas.
Then, as our double trekking safari is coming to an end, you will pack up and head to Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch and any other stops you would like to make.
When you arrive in Kampala, you will be taken to a hotel if you plan to remain overnight, or dropped off at the airport for your flight.
