Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park.

From your accommodation or Kigali International Airport, our Gorilla Safaris Guide will pick you up for your Musanze province trip to Volcanoes National Park. Over 360 mountain gorillas with 7 habituated groups accessible for people to hike call Volcanoes National Park home. You will check into your lodge for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking.

You will go to Kinigi Park headquarters for a briefing by the park warden after early morning meal. Then you will assign a gorilla group for trekking. Local time all visitors will go to different starting places for gorilla trekking by 8:30 am.
Before you at least catch up with the continually moving mountain gorillas, the gorilla journey lasts one to six hours. Once you find them, you are permitted to remain in their presence photographing for no more than one hour. Then go back to where your car is parked to be transferred to the next program.
Following your lunch, you will have an optional chance to explore the iby’s lwacu cultural village; thereafter, you will return to your lodge for supper and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali for city tour & Departure.

Transfer back to Kigali after breakfast. Your tour guide could show you about the city, stop at the local handicraft market and the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, then go to the airport for a planned return home.
