Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi Forest.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport Rwanda, kindly meet and greet our company representative together with your driver guide for a briefing before heading to Kigali city to visit the Crafts village, local market, and Genocide memorial site from your Uganda Gorilla trek from Kigali.

Eat lunch then go to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. From Kigali, drive there; cross the border into Uganda at Katuna; then, check into your allocated hotel. Then relax, eat supper, and get ready for an incredible gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to lake Bunyonyi.

Today is the key draw of your three-day trip from Kigali, Rwanda, to Uganda! After waking up and savoring a hot cup of tea or coffee, grabbing your packed lunch, and then heading to the pack headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’s of gorilla trekking in Bwindi, you will be assigned to a particular gorilla family and later set out to the forest in search of mountain gorillas under your head guide.
Once you find them, you will have one hour to sit with them, observe their behavior, and feed their little ones. Descendent to the starting point to pick up your certificates, then drive back to your resort for lunch and check-out before heading to Lake Bunyonyi for the canoeing trips. You will explore and find many islands with the help of an indigenous guide. You will meet your driver and guide after the excursion and be returned to the resort to relax.

Day 3: Culture Tour – Transfer to Kigali international airport.

Go on a community trip around Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast to discover more about the native way of life. Your three-day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda will then finish when you start the return trip to Kigali in Rwanda. On a clear day, you could get amazing views of Kabale’s terraced hills and Rwanda’s rice fields. Arriving in Kigali in the afternoon, go to the airport to catch your next aircraft.
