Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park.

In order to facilitate your travel to Volcanoes National Park in the Musanze region, our Gorilla Safaris Guide will come and pick you up from your accommodation or from the Kigali International Airport.
More than 360 mountain gorillas call Volcanoes National Park their home, and there are seven habituated groups of mountain gorillas that tourists may travel with. You are going to check in at your lodge, where you will have supper and spend the night.

Day 2: First Mountain Gorilla Tracking.

The park warden will inform you at Kinigi park headquarters after breakfast. You will then hike with a gorilla troop. All guests will move to gorilla trekking starting places by 8:30 am local time. The trip takes 1–6 hours to reach the mountain gorillas, who are always moving.
You may take photos of them for an hour after noticing them. Return to your car to switch to the next program. After lunch, you may explore the iby’lwacu cultural hamlet before returning to your lodge for supper and sleep.

Day 3: Second mountain Gorilla trek

Your second gorilla journey will be to a different mountain gorilla family. You may rest at the hotel or explore the twin lakes or Musanze Caves in the afternoon.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali for city tour & Departure.

Return to Kigali after breakfast. Your tour guide may take you to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site and the local handicrafts market before taking you to the airport for your trip home.
